Conor McGregor painting (Original)
This painting named ‘GIMMIE THE BELT’ , Captures one of the most memorable Moments in UFC history and was a defining moment in Conor McGregor's Rise to the top of the mountain in the world of MMA and the UFC.
This Image shows the extraordinary moment when Conor McGregor takes Jose Aldo’s Championship belt off him during the Dublin leg of their world tour to promote their featherweight title fight. Jose desperately tries to get his belt back off Conor as Conor shouts to the crowd and UFC president Dana White struggles to keep the two fighters apart from one another.
During this infamous pre-fight world tour, Conor gave a masterclass in how to mentally dismantle an opponent. His opponent, in this case, being Jose Aldo. Aldo was a man who up to this point had remained undefeated in an MMA fight for 10 years. It is a common belief that it was here when Conor grabbed the UFC championship belt from its resting place on a table in front of Jose that Jose was mentally defeated and the upcoming fight in the Octagon was won.
The original 110 cm x 150cm portrait is an acrylic on canvas painting, using real gold leaf to create the iconic UFC title belt.
